2008 was the year of Ben’s ‘Afritrex’ adventure; circumnavigating the entire African continent in his trusty Land Rover, Colonel Mustard, travelling over 65,000 kilometres together.
During the expedition he completed five marathons and climbed the five highest mountains on the continent, along with managing all of the marketing, website design and maintenance, blogging, promotion, sponsorship and fundraising which resulted in raising AUD$50,000 for charity.
